'Bad25' - Michael Jackson 'Bad' album anniversary doco

Now this... will give you goosebumps.

The trailer for 'Bad25' - the documentary special to commemorate 25 years since the late Michael Jackson's 'Bad' album was born. The year was 1987

Does this bring back memories? What life-stage were you at? What were you doing?

Me, I was in my last year of my beloved OLR high school, and I recall that when 'Thriller' was released (in MJ's previous album of the same name) someone taped it from the telly to a VHS tape and brought it to school. They wheeled in the TV to the science room, charged 20 cents to watch a shaky copy of 'Thriller', and we looked on in awe.

When 'Bad' came out a few years later, Channel 9 again televised this incredible video (you would have seen Martin Scorcese at the helm, in the trailer above) we were smarter and taped it VHS ourselves.

It was an exciting time

What does this doco remind you of?

GM Photographics, Portrait Couture, and National Breast Cancer Foundation beauty book: 'Glam'

GM Photographics and Portrait Couture are teaming up with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to produce a beauty book called 'Glam'.

Both photographic companies are renowned - GM Photographics has been around for eons and has garnered an exceptional reputation, and Portrait Couture is a newer player, but has years of experience [it's actually a husband and wife team: Graham Monro heads GM, and Simona Janek, who has been a hair and makeup artist for many years has now trained in photography, heads up Portrait Couture].

Together, they have joined forces with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to produce an exclusive limited edition Portrait Couture art coffee table book called 'Glam', where they have committed to a target to raise $10,000 for the NBCF. So impressive. And, yours truly will be a part of this special book. I am so thrilled and honoured.

I enjoyed a fantastic photographic session with Portrait Couture as Simona worked her magic. And I do mean, MAGIC!

Check out some of the pics from the shoot... [and read on for an offer from Portrait Couture]:

And now, Portrait Couture is offering a photographic session for only $150 - including hair and
makeup (normally valued at $395 ) with $50 donated to the NBCF.

The limited edition, hard cover finished art book can then be purchased for $195 and $50 of this is also donated to the NBCF.

I can seriously vouch that the results are breathtaking. See my blog about my experience.

Wondering why you'd do a session with Portrait Couture? Who you'd give the pics to, why you'd do it? Feel a little self-conscious about "loving yourself sick" and allowing yourself to be pampered and fussed over? That's exactly why you should do it. I promise you, you won't regret it. And now, you can spoil yourself AND it's for a good cause.

Bodyform responds to Richard: viral video

Now this... is very funny!

Ever wondered what men think of ads for sanitary pads?

Well this guy - Richard Neill - let his feelings known. And it caught the attention of a particular brand of pads... in a big way.

He commented on the Facebook page of the UK pad brand Bodyform, and his comment - below - has so far garnered over 87,000 'likes' so far:

Hi , as a man I must ask why you have lied to us for all these years . As a child I watched your advertisements with interest as to how at this wonderful time of the month that the female gets to enjoy so many things ,I felt a little jealous. I mean bike riding , rollercoasters, dancing, parachuting, why couldn't I get to enjoy this time of joy and 'blue water' and wings !! Dam my penis!! Then I got a girlfriend, was so happy and couldn't wait for this joyous adventurous time of the month to happen .....you lied !! There was no joy , no extreme sports , no blue water spilling over wings and no rocking soundtrack oh no no no. Instead I had to fight against every male urge I had to resist screaming wooaaahhhhh bodddyyyyyyfooorrrmmm bodyformed for youuuuuuu as my lady changed from the loving , gentle, normal skin coloured lady to the little girl from the exorcist with added venom and extra 360 degree head spin. Thanks for setting me up for a fall bodyform , you crafty bugger

Bodyform posted this status update, below, on their Facebook page, and created this hilarious clip, which is heading into viral territory:

We loved Richard’s wicked sense of humour. We are always grateful for input from our users, but his comment was particularly poignant. If Facebook had a "love" button, we'd have clicked it. But it doesn't. So we've made Richard a video instead. Unfortunately Bodyform doesn't have a CEO. But if it did she'd be called Caroline Williams. And she'd say this.

Jennifer Aniston on 'Chelsea Lately': Jen cries happy tears about engagement

Jennifer Aniston and Chelsea Handler are BFFs , so it was only natural that Jen spoke so frankly about her engagement to Chelsea on her show 'Chelsea Lately'. Watch:

Chelsea has become tight with Jennifer over the past few years, since she first appeared on the show [I am NUTS about the show - have been part of the Australian audience both time the whole production came to Sydney], and it's great to see a genuine friendship.

Here's some more on the duo here http://josiesjuice.blogspot.com.au/2011/02/jennifer-aniston-on-chelsea-lately.html and here: http://josiesjuice.blogspot.com.au/2010/08/jennifer-aniston-on-chelsea-lately-on-e.html

Chanel No. 5: Brad Pitt

What do you think of the new Chanel No. 5 fragrance TV advertisement, starring Brad Pitt?

I little too philosophical for an ad... or just right?

Chanel No. 5 was my very first grown up fragrance - I still have my original bottle. Obsessed.
