Carrie Bickmore Pregnant: Baby Number 3!

The beautiful and talented Carrie Bickmore, host on TV's 'The Project' has announced she is pregnant!

This is how she shared the wonderful news on Instagram, with her daughter Evie asking... is it twins?

As you can see from the caption:

Hey some exciting news to share with you. We are having a BABY 👶 🍼 How funny is Evie asking if it’s twins. No honey it’s not twins!!!!!!

It's not!

Carrie and her partner Chris Walker have a daughter Evie, three, and Carrie's son Oliver, 11, from her first marriage to her late husband, Greg Lange, who sadly died from brain cancer in 2010.

So, how did she hide it on set?

Speaking on her radio show 'Carrie & Tommy' on The Hit Network this afternoon, Carrie revealed keeping her bump a secret took some expert manoeuvring.

“I’ve been wearing lots of jackets and jumpers, but on The Project right, the desk crosses right across my belly and I’ve slowly been lowering my chair a tiny bit,” she said to her radio co-host Tommy Little.
She added: “It’s funny because the floor staff keep going to like Waleed or Hamish, ‘can you guys lower your chair? I don’t know what’s happening but you’re so out of whack height wise'".
“[I thought] is anyone noticing that I’m going down down down as the weeks go on? I thought soon it will just be my little head above the desk.”
Unlike her other pregnancies, Carrie doesn’t want to find out the sex of the child before it is born.
“I don’t know, I found out with Ollie, found out with Evie and I’m thinking maybe I just let it go for this one, let it be a surprise,” she said.

Natalie Joyce Speaks: Interview With The Australian Women's Weekly

Natalie Joyce, the former wife of Australian politician Barnaby Joyce, has spoken out for the first time since their marriage breakdown and the subsequent birth of Barnaby's son Sebastian with his new partner Vikki Campion. The exclusive interview appears in the July 2018 edition of 'The Australian Women's Weekly'.

In an exclusive with Natalie, this report about the article says that Natalie's "decision to finally speak up came easily. Along with a strong desire to set the record straight, she had four compelling reasons - her daughters Bridgette, 21, Julia, 20, Caroline, 18, and Odette, 15."

Read that article here.

It continues by adding that Natalie describes the TV interview as "an absolute disgrace", saying it didn't come as a great shock to her that Vikki was the driving force behind it.

Plus, the story was "a decision made well before word of the Barnaby and Vikki TV tell-all on 'Sunday Night' had surfaced.

The magazine posted about the interview, which is said to be unpaid, on Facebook with this photo and caption:

EXCLUSIVE: Natalie Joyce breaks her silence on the worst two years of her life, the moment she confronted her husband Barnaby Joyce's mistress and how the love and support of the greater rural community saved her. Issue on sale tomorrow.

Anthony Bourdain's girlfriend Asia Argento speaks out

Following the untimely death of Anthony Bourdain, his girlfriend Asia Argento has spoken out.

Asia, an actress, director, and more recently an activist for the #MeToo movement (aligning herself with her fellow actress powerhouse friends Rose McGowan and Annabella Sciorra), asked for privacy hours after her celebrity chef boyfriend was found dead in a hotel room in France.

"Anthony gave all of himself in everything that he did. His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds. He was my love, my rock, my protector. I am beyond devastated. My thoughts are with his family. I would ask that you respect their privacy and mine," she tweeted.

Here is that tweet:

Just three hours before Bourdain was found dead, Argento shared a photo on her Instagram story that showed her wearing a shirt that read “F--- EVERYONE.”

“You know who you are,” she captioned the post, according to People

She has since deleted the Instagram story. See below:

CNN said in a statement: “It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain. His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time.”

Asia and Anthony met when the two collaborated on the Rome episode of Parts Unknown in 2016, and Asia became heavily involved in his creative process. She recently directed an upcoming episode set in Hong Kong, and Anthony would often consult her for her rich knowledge of music and film when putting together the series.

He said to People magazine in September last year:

“We both work a lot,” he said, “and we’re both away from home a lot so we’re both circus freaks in the same circus—or different circuses I guess.”

In one of his last interviews, he praised his girlfriend's directing skills.

He told Indie Wire in an interview published June 3: “Look, anytime I can get work out of Asia — even random suggestions... that’s a huge help to the show,” he said. “I’d love to have her a continuing director. I just don’t think we can afford her. But, my God, I’d love nothing more than to repeat the experience. She made it incredible.”

Anthony was previously married to Ottavia Busia, with whom he shares a daughter 11 year old Ariane.

Anthony joined his girlfriend in becoming an outspoken supporter of the #MeToo movement after Argento accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault in October.

"I am proud and honored to know you. You just did the hardest thing in the world," Anthony tweeted at Argento after Ronan Farrow's expose about Weinstein was published in the New Yorker.

Another Weinstein accuser and #metoo activist Rose McGowan also tweeted a distraught message following Bourdain's death.

"Oh Asia Agento you've been through so much. Anthony, why?" McGowan said through tears.
She later deleted the post.
Here are some more posts and photos of the couple:

Kate Spade's husband Andy releases statement

Andy Spade, the husband of designer Kate Spade who died yesterday, has broken his silence following her tragic death by suicide. Kate was only 55.

Kate was a designer who carted luxury handbags in the 1990s and early 2000s and was found dead in her New York apartment.
Andy was married to the designer for 24 years and just released a statement, stating she was “the most beautiful woman in the world” and his “best friend for 35 years”.
“She was the kindest person I’ve ever known,” the statement said.
“My daughter and I are devastated by her loss, and can’t even begin to fathom life without her. We are deeply heartbroken and miss her already.”
Andy said his wife “suffered from depression and anxiety for many years” and was “actively seeking help” to treat her “disease”.
“We were in touch with her the night before and she sounded happy,” his statement continued.
“There was no indication and no warning that she would do this. It was a complete shock. And it clearly wasn’t her. There were personal demons she was battling.”
Andy, also 55 (and the brother of actor David Spade) quashed rumours they were headed for divorce, though revealed they had been “living separately” in proximity to one another for the past 10 months. Their daughter, Frances Beatrix, would visit each of them on a regular basis.

“Bea was living with both of us and we saw each other or spoke every day,” he said.
“We ate many meals together as a family and continued to vacation together as a family. Our daughter was our priority. We were not legally separated, and never even discussed divorce.
“We were best friends trying to work through our problems in the best way we knew how. We were together for 35 years. We loved each other very much and simply needed a break.
This is the truth. Anything else that is out there right now is false.”
He added that his wife was seeking help for depression and anxiety over the last five years, and had been taking medication for both conditions.
“There was no substance or alcohol abuse,” he said.
“There were no business problems. We loved creating our businesses together. We were co-parenting our beautiful daughter. I have yet to see any note left behind and am appalled that a private message to my daughter has been so heartlessly shared with the media.”
Mr Spade said their 13-year-old daughter - who was at school when Ms Spade was discovered - was his main concern.
“My main concern is Bea and protecting her privacy as she deals with the unimaginable grief of losing her mother,” he said. “Kate loved Bea so very much.”
Andy's statement does contradict what her sister — Reta Saffo — said in the hours following her death. Reta said Kate had refused to seek medical help for her demons, and that the tragedy came as no surprise.
“I will say this was not unexpected by me,” Ms Saffo wrote in emails to the Kansas City Star newspaper.
“She was always a very excitable little girl and I felt all the stress/pressure of her brand may have flipped the switch where she eventually became full-on manic depressive.”
Reta added that within the past three or four years she tried and tried to get her sister Kate (born Katherine Brosnahan) the help she so desperately needed.
“I’d come so very close to getting her to go in for treatment (to the same place Catherine Zeta-Jones went for her successful bipolar treatment program). I’d spoken with them on the phone (not telling them exactly who the patient would be). They agreed to fly in and talk with her and take her with them to the treatment centre,” Reta said.
“She was all set to go — but then chickened out by morning. I even said I (would) go with her and be a ‘patient’ too (she liked that idea) … That seemed to make her more comfortable, and we’d get so close to packing her bags, but — in the end, the ‘image’ of her brand (happy-go-lucky Kate Spade) was more important for her to keep up.
“She was definitely worried about what people would say if they found out.”
Such a sad, sad end to a BIG life.

Vikki Campion and Barnaby Joyce: TV INTERVIEW - VIDEO

The story on TV show 'Sunday Night' was promoted like this:

COMING UP: Vikki Campion is at the centre of the biggest political scandal in decades, yet nobody has heard her side of the story … until now. Nothing is off limits as Vikki addresses the endless speculation about the affair and their working relationship, the showdown with Barnaby’s wife, the cruel and relentless attacks and the question of the child’s paternity. Sunday Night is on at 8:30 pm tonight on Channel 7, right after House Rules#SN7

The interview has just aired, and here it is in full.

CLICK ON THIS LINK HERE.

What are your thoughts?

Here is a run down of the story.

Vikki broke her silence about her relationship with Barnaby Joyce, revealing she had purchased the medicine needed to have an abortion after discovering she was pregnant.

She also revealed how she had been pressured to terminate the baby by “conservatives” within the National Party.
“They came to me and they said ‘You’re pregnant and you have to get an abortion’. And they said, ‘If you don’t, they’re gonna come after you’,” she said.
“And I said it’s too late, it has a hearbreat. And they said, ‘If you don’t, they’re gonna come after you.’ And they did.”
While she didn't name them, Mr Joyce said those involved were “absolute scum of the earth people”.
“Their contribution to it is they’re gonna try and make an incredibly difficult situation almost unbearable by saying to you that, ‘Woman, you will do this if you want a career in this place.’ And that’s your Australian Parliament,” he said.
Vikki said she had thought about an abortion, but in the end could not go through with it.
“I thought I should take matters into my own hands... by considering abortion. I tried and I couldn't go through with that,” she said. “I bought the medicine online. I walked in and I walked out again.”
She said she also thought about adoption. “It was not an easy decision. It was decision that I agonised over for weeks and months. You start thinking crazy things about adoption, so he can have a normal life.” Opening up about when their relationship started, Vikki said the pair was “close for a long time” before things turned romantic in “late 2016”.
“I was close to him. I was going through some fairly difficult private circumstances of my own. He was also going through some things,” she said.
When Barnaby found about the baby, he knew he would lose his position as deputy prime minister. “I knew right then. I will be really frank. I don’t believe in abortion. I just knew straight away that I was going to lose my job as Deputy PM. And you know what I was doing was hoping and praying for a healthy baby.”
Barnaby said the hardest part about the whole situation was breaking the news to his wife of 20 years and his four daughters.
“The biggest failure of my life is the failure of my marriage,” he said. “To be frank, I don’t give a shit about the political ramifications.”
Barnaby added that six media crews had camped outside his home, adding that they felt like they were trapped.
“We were locked up for two weeks. People sitting on the front lawn. We were living a nightmare.”
He said he never intended for the affair with Ms Campion to develop, but said he was “living a lie” towards the end of his marriage, and he said he accepts the full blame for the affair.
“Show me a person who’s had a perfect marriage and I’ll show you a perfect liar.”
The couple say the money from the paid interview will go into a trust fund for baby Sebastian’s education.
