Cosmopolitan Australia Closes

Bauer Media has announced it will be closing Cosmopolitan Australia, in sad publishing news just in.
In a statement this morning, Bauer Media ANZ CEO Paul Dykzeul said: “Today, Bauer Media announced the closure of the Cosmopolitan brand in Australia, with the December issue being the last. It has not been an easy decision to make, however, the commercial viability of the magazine in Australia is no longer sustainable.

“Magazine closures are never easy, desirable or done without careful consideration for all of those involved. We have to ensure that we are continually reshaping and defining the business so that our readers of today, and those of tomorrow, remain engaged with the content we publish and the platforms upon which we deliver.
“We are incredibly proud of the brand and the people who have been involved and represented over the last 45 years. It has helped to launch the careers of media personalities, supported great brands and causes, and inspired millions of young women across the country.
“We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the brand and its legacy over the years.”

This will mean that extension brands which have worked incredibly well over the years - Cosmopolitan Bride, which was a quarterly print edition (and recently missing from newsstands) and Cosmopolitan Pregnancy will be gone too.
RIP Aussie Cosmo! This is a sad day for publishing!

But I have a question for you: when was the last time YOU bought a hard copy, tactile magazine?

'The Bachelorette': Meet The Men, 2018 for Ali Oetjen: VIDEOS

Ali Oetjen met all her suitors tonight and it was... an interesting mix!

As Australia's next 'Bachelorette', after vying for the heart of Tim Robards five years ago when HE was 'The Bachelor' (he ultimately chose Anna Heinrich, and they married earlier this year), and more recently her stint on 'Bachelor in Paradise' (where that ended badly - with her match Grant Kemp traveling with Ali from that Fiji set to the US, his home country and that shot to shit - Google it), it's now her third (TV) attempt to find love.

And so, here at the guys trying to win her heart, and her roses 🌹 - or at least some cool gigs as models.

Missed the show? Here are some of the good / controversial bits, starting with the obligatory season round up... THAT LAST BIT, WHAT!?
