The Open course here really is one of a kind - it was the first 18 hole course built and prepared specifically for a national championship, in this case, the Australia Open which Moonah Links hosted in 2003 and 2005.
Peppers Moonah Links Resort looks like it's in the bush, and it kinda is. Located in prime Australian coast and bushland, it's less than an hour and a half from Melbourne. Located in the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, it's a region which boasts both seaside holiday accomodation as well a wine growing region. It's a dichotomous property - its location means you can experience the nearby surf as well as country charm. It ticks all the boxes.
Josie's Juice was a guest here and we'd never been to the region. And we are now in love with it.
From the beautifully appointed, touch of retro rooms, to the sweeping views of the golf greens, to the clever talking points like a bathtub overlooking the golf course, an outdoor shower on the balcony, and comfy beds and lots of room in the rooms, Josie's Juice would not stay anywhere else now when in the region.

In 2012, Peppers Moonah Links Resort was voted number 4 on the 'Luxury Travel Gold List' for 'Best Australian Golf Resort'.
Think landscaped gardens, rolling greenery outside your room, plus the opportunity to treat yourself to a relaxing spa treatment or outdoor thermal hot spring bath at the neighbouring Peninsula Hot Springs. Oh yeah! Next time for sure. It's right next door and they provide a complimentary buggy service between 9am-5pm (weather permitting).
The resort’s Pebbles Restaurant is also available for meals, including a beautiful brekkie set amongst the large expanse of green.

The resort is perfect for couples, corporates, solo travellers, and families, and if it's wine you're after, visit the Cups Estate Winery nearby.
