Victoria Beckham - Numero' magazine, March 2012

In her first magazine shoot since giving birth to daughter Harper Seven in July, Victoria Beckham sheds much of her clothes (why, of course) for Japanese Numero' magazine.

On the cover of the March 2012 edition of the magazine, she looks even better, in a blue Burberry trench and perfect hair and makeup.

What do you think of the shoot? A bit over seeing new mums getting their gear off? Or, 'more power to her'?

Heidi Klum and Seal confirm their divorce. Why does this bother us?

In celeb news just in: Heidi Klum and Seal confirm that they are splitting after almost seven years of marriage.

In an exclusive statement to WHO's sister publication People, the Project Runway host and the singer say:

"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.

"We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.

"We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."

The couple are parents to Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2. In fact, the model and TV presenter, 38, and singer, 48, began dating in 2003 after Klum had split from Italian race car team manager Flavio Briatore, and while she was pregnant with Flavio's child Leni.

In December 2004, Seal proposed with a yellow diamond ring (she never took that bauble off, not surprisingly).

The web had been abuzz with talk of their split for the past day (Seal's Twitter post sent it into overdrive with this: The End. ).

Talk shows this morning discussed the end of their marriage with sadness, (it's as if we all knew them!), in disbelief, even disappointment.

It begs the question: why our surprise?

Why did they seem to be the poster couple for the most enduring, exciting, still-madly-in-love marriage?

A point brought up by the Today show's 'Girls on the Grill' segment today was: why the public renewal of their wedding vows every year? (Was it even 'public'? Or did the spying paps make it look like it was?). Another assertion: the more a couple screams look at us, look at how in love we are, the more one should suspect it's all for show.

What do you think? Why the shock?

And who is your 'poster couple' for an enduring union (Barack and Michelle; Wills and Kate; Goldie and Kurt...?)

Embarrassingly, I can (ahem, "Did you see Gossip Girl this week? I want, like, all of Blake's clothes.")

Ifidie - Facebook status updates... beyond the grave

Have you seen this new app called 'ifidie'?

That's, 'If I Die'.

Essentially, it's a Facebook app that allows you to leave a message on Facebook - via video or text - that will only be published after you die.

You then choose three 'trustees' (basically, three Facebook friends you can trust... c'mon, in amongst the 300+ people you call 'pals' there must be a trio of people you can share more than just a show-off status update with...?), and they, um, execute your wishes after you cark it.

Watch the video, below:

And for more info, go here: http://ifidie.net/

So, would you?

I guess it's the best way to let people know you're no longer on the planet. How else will people who you barely see know why your witty Facebook status updates have stopped suddenly? Surely not everyone knows your Facebook password to post the news of your untimely death?

So... yes or no?

Have you seen this video yet, on its way to being a viral sensation? You should.

It pokes fun at the global beauty industry, and confirms what we already know: beauty doesn't come easy, or cheap. And wild claims should be taken with a grain of (exfoliating) salt. Watch:

Justin Bieber V magazine - February 2012

A Thierry Mugler-clad Justin Bieber is the cover lad of the new music-themed issue of V magazine, now onsale.

With a label of "Pop's Crown Prince," the wildly popular singer strikes a Vogue-esque pose in a mesh Dolce & Gabbana 'jumper' on the cover.

Photographed by Inez & Vinoodh and styled by Lady Gaga fave Nicola Formichetti, the rather cool shoot features Bieber in a Roman-style headpiece, and a broken Roman helmet, draped in Mugler fashions.

Says 17 year old Bieber (he turns 18 in March) in the accompanying story:

"A lot of people say they hate Justin Bieber who haven't even listened to my music. They just hate the idea of me."

The Family - SBS reality show. And why I love it.

Right from the beginning, I have been hooked on this SBS show 'The Family'.

Here's why:

- They fight, they make up, they still love each other.

- Obviously: the mother's name is Josie.

- Her real name would be Giuseppina. And she's be named after her grandmother.

- They have the same arguments I do in my home ("don't be wasteful!" "God, you're ungrateful")

- They have authentic nonnas in the mix, complete with Sicilian dialect (which I speak with my mum, can't get enough of, and always worry it will be 'extinct' some day).

- Meal times are sacred and it's all about what's next to eat. And Josie does all the cooking. Helllooo!

- It shows the daily power struggles that exist when raising a family. Especially one with three outspoken, passionate boys.

What are the reasons you love the show?

Plus Model Magazine - the photos you must see; the stats you must read

These images - and the stats that are referred to in the accompanying blog - are currently making waves in the fashion and mag world.

You can read more here:

Here are some incredible stats:

- Twenty years ago the average fashion model weighed 8% less than the average woman. Today, she weighs 23% less

- Ten years ago plus-size models averaged between size 12 and 18. Today the need for size diversity within the plus-size modeling industry continues to be questioned. The majority of plus-size models on agency boards are between a size 6 and 14, while the customers continue to express their dissatisfaction.

- Most runway models meet the Body Mass Index physical criteria for Anorexia.

- 50% of women wear a size 14 or larger, but most standard clothing outlets cater to sizes 14 or smaller.

Surprised?

Barbie Girl Australia Day 2012 - Sam Kekovich Lamb Campaign

I hate myself for loving this... but dammit, Sam Kekovich, Melissa Tkautz, Justice Crew... and Richard Wilkins all in one ad? For the annual Australia Day lamb promotion? I just cannot resist.

Scroll down to watch:

And here is the original version of the 1990s song (I hate myself even more for catching myself enjoying this ghastly ditty):

And here is Sam Kekovich's annual report on how we have fared as a nation for the year (hint: Kim Kardashian gets a mention, as does Shane Warne):
