Gerard Baden Clay: 60 Minutes - VIDEO

60 Minutes Australia will be screening an exclusive report this Sunday they've titled 'The Wife Killer: Inside the police investigation of Gerard Baden-Clay.'

The clip is chilling. Click here to watch.
The reporter is the exceptional Tara Brown (and produced by Stephen Taylor, Jo Townsend and Grace Tobin).
The accompanying description online is chilling:
Gerard Baden-Clay tried to portray himself as 'Mr Middle Class' — a successful small-businessman, proud father and loving and devoted husband.
But the real Gerard was the complete opposite.
He was an incompetent real estate agent whose business was haemorrhaging money; he was intolerant with his three young daughters and he was a womaniser who wasn't even faithful to his long-term mistress.
But why Gerard Baden-Clay thought all his problems could be fixed by killing his beautiful wife Allison, only he knows.
Read more about the report in the link above.
Watch the report this Sunday at 8pm on Nine.

L'Oréal Paris: OCRF Colour of Hope featuring Megan Gale - VIDEO

L’Oréal Paris has been the proud partner of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) since 2009.

And now, in the spirit of the L'Oreal signature phrase “Because You’re Worth It”, L’Oréal Paris continues the campaign to be passionate about supporting and empowering women everywhere.

While awareness of the disease has increased amongst Australians, four in nine women still believe that a pap smear will detect ovarian cancer.

The sad reality is: there is no early detection test. Ovarian cancer remains a silent killer, with two thirds of women diagnosed in the advanced stages of the disease.

Here is how L'Oreal Paris Australia will be helping the cause:

Rove joins 'The Project' as guest co-host

Rove McManus is going back to his old TV stomping ground - he will join 'The Project' as special guest co-host for several months.

Here is the statement on Network Ten's site TenPlay:

Network Ten is thrilled to announce that Rove McManus will take a seat at The Project as a special guest co-host from Monday, August 18.

After co-hosting The Project in May, Rove jumped at the opportunity to return to Melbourne to join his long-time friends and former colleagues, Carrie Bickmore and Peter Helliar.

Currently based in Los Angeles, the guest co-host position gives Rove the perfect opportunity to return home to Australia for a few months. He will be on The Project until December 2014.

“It was fantastic being back doing live TV with Carrie and Pete in May and I couldn’t resist the opportunity to return and co-host again for a few months. Plus I think I left my phone charger in the dressing room,” Rove said.

“It will be great to be able to be part of The Project for the remainder of 2014 as member of the regular team. Everyone involved does such a tremendous job putting the show together and even better for me, I’m essentially working with friends every day.”

Craig Campbell, Executive Producer, said: ”It is great to be getting the old team back together again. It was a joy to have Rove on the desk in May, our audience loved seeing him again in a whole new way.”

Regular guest panellists Steve Price, Waleed Aly, Fifi Box, Meshel Laurie, Todd Sampson and Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann will join Carrie, Rove and Pete from Monday, August 18, at 6.30pm.
