Ellen on Bethenny's Show: Addresses Rift Rumours

Bethenny welcomes Ellen to the show, and her mentor wastes no time in shooting down rumours of a rift:



The episode airs today in Australia, on Arena on Foxtel, at 5.30pm. Look for repeats throughout the evening and on Friday.

Ellen said to Bethenny: "I mean you have not invited me to your house but I've invited you to mine so that has happened but someday maybe, I don't know," Ellen joked, with Bethenny giving an interesting reply.

"My ex-husband lives in my house Ellen," Bethenny said. Yes, Jason Hoppy is living under the same roof as Bethenny.

Ellen replied: "Well then I am not going there. Let me say this because I only hear about this stuff I don't really pay attention to what's in the press but I did hear that there was a story that I was distancing myself from you and from the show and I wanted my name off of the show and I think people think, as Andy Cohen (the man behind the reunion 'Real Housewives' specials said on your show the other day, that there is always a tiny bit of truth to any rumour that you read.

"There is absolutely not one crumb of truth in that at all. I am not distancing myself from your show, I love you. I am so proud of you. I am proud to have my name on it and I think that you are amazing and we are friends."

According to Bethenny Frankel on her new show 'Bethenny', these are the 'New Wedding Rules'.

Melissa Gorga Book: 'Bethenny' Interview - VIDEO

In the past 24 hours much has been said about the new book by Melissa Gorga.

Melissa is one of the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey', and has just penned a book called: 

'Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage.'

This article in particular slammed the couple's marriage, with the piece entiled: 'Real Housewife' Melissa Gorga's New Book Advocates Marital Rape.

The article deconstructs various paragraphs in Melissa's book, like this one:

Men, I know you think your woman isn't the type who wants to be taken. But trust me, she is. Every girl wants to get her hair pulled once in a while. If your wife says "no," turn her around, and rip her clothes off. She wants to be dominated.

Women don't realize how easy men are. Just give us what we want.

That is rape and it is insane that it got past the publisher. (says the Jezebel article).

Melissa and Joe just appeared on the new 'Bethenny' show and also dropped a few controversial clangers.

When Bethenny asked Joe if Melissa ever turns him down for sex, Joe replied: "She fights it. She fights it, but I always win," he said.

He then continued to describe a time when Melissa came home tired, but he told her "Daddy needs his sleeping pill."

'Bethenny' Talk Show Australian Screen Date on Arena on Foxtel

The Australia screen date for Bethenny Frankel's talk show - titled 'Bethenny' - has just been confirmed: from Tuesday September 10 at 5.30pm, which is just hours after its broadcast in the US.

Looking fantastic in this just-in promo photo, the hugely popular US powerhouse Bethenny Frankel's show will be screened on Foxtel’s Arena, 'Express from the US', weekdays from Tuesday September 10.

'Bethenny' will join the impressive afternoon line up on Arena: 'Katie', which airs weekdays at 4.30pm, and 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', screening 6.30pm weeknights, all part of “Arena’s Afternoon Threesome – We’ll Get You Talking” - and all express from the US.

Bethenny's show is much anticipated: renowned for being honest, up-front, witty, playful and extremely business savvy, 'Bethenny' will cover the topics that women care about most: love and relationships, celebrities and pop culture, beauty and fitness, as well as her own relatable personal and professional life experiences.

Australian viewers first fell in love with Bethenny on the Arena series 'The Real Housewives of New York' (she was the star of the show... and to think she wasn't even a 'housewife', but owned it), and then followed her ups and downs in the spin-off series 'Bethenny Getting Married?' and 'Bethenny Ever After.'

Ellen Degeneres's friend Bethenny Frankel was just on the Ellen show in the US [the ep will screen in Australia today on Arena TV at 4pm, with repeats throughout the next 24 hours, and tomorrow on Channel 9 at midday].

In this clip, Bethenny announces that she has just moved her entire family to Los Angeles for her brand new talk show [simply called 'Bethenny'], produced by Ellen herself.

It premieres in the US on June 11, and Ellen and Bethenny give the audience a first glimpse.
