Katy Perry has just been announced as the newest face of global cosmetics brand Covergirl. Here is the just released shot of the gorgeous superstar:

Katy has joined the Covergirl fold prior to her new album launch, 'Prism' on October 22.

Katy's first cosmetics campaign with Covergirl debuts in the spring of 2014 - or April 2014 in Australia.

Says Katy: “In addition to music, I’ve always considered makeup to be a powerful creative avenue of self-expression. I’m honored to partner with COVERGIRL and share more colors and textures of my approach to beauty to inspire my audience.”
