A brave and brazen couple went to the streets of NYC to try some of Cosmo's famous sex positions.

Cosmopolitan Middle East: Second birthday issue, April 2013

Cosmopolitan Middle East - regular readers of this blog will know I am a fan - has turned two!

Here is what editor in chief Kerrie Simon-Lawrence says about the new issue:

"Cosmopolitan Middle East turns two this month and we just can’t believe our little baby is growing up so fast! Over the past two years, we’ve achieved so much, from flying to LA to shoot our own covers, to winning the ‘Magazine of the Year’ accolade at the Cosmo international conference in Madrid last year. The team is small, but so incredibly passionate. We’re defined by our love for this product and our desire to empower women. It’s a huge part of the reason we’re the highest-selling women’s monthly mag in the region.

"This month, we feature all three Kardashian sisters on our cover – having had the opportunity to personally interview all three of them over the past two years, we promise you, they embody Cosmo’s ‘fun, fearless female’ mantra right to their core - and we’re offering every reader over Dhs570 (AUD150) of gifts – everything from manicures to yoga classes to cupcakes – to say ‘thanks for hanging out with us over the past couple of years’."

It has been a pleasure, Cosmo ME.

Here is more on this international edition, of one of the most enduring success stories in magazine publishing.

Cosmopolitan Australia Magazine: 'Fun, Fearless Females' 2012

Take a look at this slew of fabulous women...

The nation’s most inspiring women are recognised each year by Australia’s number-one female magazine: it's the Cosmopolitan magazine Australia 'Fun, Fearless Females 2012'.

The annual awards recognise achievements among women across 11 categories, and this year’s finalists range from movie stars to everyday heroines, and up-and-coming businesswomen to the best athletes.

Cosmopolitan readers control the outcome of the Fun Fearless Female Awards, with round one nominations for their favourite actress, singer, author, blogger, entrepreneur, radio presenter, fashion designer, TV personality, rising star, role model and sportsperson via the Cosmopolitan website, and now online voting for the winner in each category. The woman who receives the most overall votes will be awarded the official Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female Overall Winner 2012, taking the crown from last year’s winner, actress Yvonne Strahovski.

Readers have until midday on Friday August 31 to cast votes at www.cosmopolitan.com.au, and winners will be revealed at the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female Awards finale event on September 26, 2012. The finalists, media and VIPs will attend the pink carpet evening at Guillaume at Bennelong, Sydney Opera House, with a specially designed menu from Guillaume Brahimi himself.

Cosmopolitan editor Bronwyn McCahon is proud to be hosting the Fun Fearless Female Awards for the sixth year, saying: “Cosmopolitan’s Fun Fearless Female Awards is all about championing the achievements of young Australian women. Celebrating the sixth year of our awards, the reader-voted finalists continue to amaze and inspire. From awesome new talent to ground-breaking entrepreneurs, this is Cosmo’s way of saluting the sisterhood and throwing a spotlight on some of the amazing young women in Australia. The voting has been huge this year, and I can’t wait to see who our readers vote as their favourite on the night.”

Britney Spears: Cosmopolitan Middle East, November 2011

Britney Spears is the cover girl for the November 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan Middle East.

Says editor in chief Kerrie Simon: "When Britney confirmed that she was flying into Abu Dhabi to be the headline act for the Grand Prix concerts, we knew we wanted to talk to her.

"She told us that she couldn't wait to come to the region and that she'd heard a lot about Abu Dhabi and couldn't wait to see it with her own eyes."

Cosmopolitan Middle East to launch - with Kerrie Simon as editor

Cosmopolitan magazine - the most widely read magazine on the planet - is launching its Middle East edition on April 1, 2011.

And at the helm, commencing in March, is the wonderfully talented and supremely capable Kerrie Simon.

(Regular readers of Josie's Juice will also know Kerrie is one of my dearest pals, so it's hard for me not to rhapsodise about it all - I will try to restrain myself!)

To be published by ITP Publishing Group (ITP publishes more magazines in the Middle East region than any other company), Kerrie moves from Grazia Middle East where she has been the editor of the title, doing a sensational job in growing the magazine to the number two position in the women's weekly retail market.

On her appointment, Kerrie said: "I'm really excited to be heading up the launch of Cosmopolitan Middle East. I'm looking forward to working with the world-class team to deliver Cosmopolitan to the young women of this region. Cosmopolitan is a voice that is trusted the world over, and I'm honoured to be part of that voice here in the Middle East."

Huge congrats, Kerrie! Magazine aficionados the world over can't wait to see what you and your team have to offer - no doubt it'll be nothing short of fabulous.
