Mayerling Skincare: BEAUTY REVIEW

When a skincare line is referred to as something the consumer has not seen before, by someone who has been in the industry for over 50 years, you stop and listen!

Tony Hasham, the founder and CEO of Mayerling Skincare says he has "never come across a range of skincare treatment like the Mayerling skin renewal system."

The product speaks for itself, and there is more below on it, and this video is excellent in explaining exactly what the product line does, the results to expect, and the active ingredients which make it all happen. I really enjoyed watching this! Why don't all brands so this?

Mayerling Tony 2 V3 from TONY HASHAM on Vimeo.

Multi award-winner and Sydney-based cosmetic surgeon Dr Lawrence Ho founded Mayerling in 1999, when his results-based research led him to develop a brand that achieves clinical results with minimal effort and without any downtime.

His findings were based on first-hand research, where he followed the treatment of clients who were undergoing peels and laser skin rejuvenation. The end results proved that resurfaced skin is the key to younger looking skin. In fact, as Hasham says in the video above, some patients were actually being prepped for laser resurfacing!
“Mayerling believes in skincare that works, without the fuss or irritation often associated with other systems. We offer safe, highly active ingredients giving visible results and benefits”
More about Mayerling Skincare.

As a brand, Mayerling are leaders in exfoliation, resurfacing and skin renewal. The brand has been formulating their own clinical peels and supplying the professional beauty industry for over 20 years. We have professional salons Australia-wide offering clinical peels that are proven to substantially increase the effectiveness of our home treatments.

Their home treatment products work on the premise that for the skin’s texture to be improved, it must be resurfaced. The old cells need to be removed, allowing the new, young, healthy skin cells to regenerate from deep within the skin.
To achieve fast effective results Mayerling uses a highly concentrated and balanced combination of potent cosmeceutical and natural ingredients, which are supported with scientific evidence and efficacy studies.
And who doesn't love a before and after when it comes to skin and body - these photos showing real results are EXTRAORDINARY!

ANEW Clinical Pro Line Corrector Treatment with A-F33: trial by Josie's Juice

I won't lie: some of the perks of my job as editor for 'Josie's Juice' blog is getting my hands on the most fab new skincare developments out there.

So I was be-yond excited when the PR of Avon Australia personally sent me a batch of the most hotly-sought after skincare in the global beauty market right now: ANEW Clinical Pro Line Corrector Treatment with A-F33.

I am week two into the trial and must say: the results are speaking for themselves. Immediately.

Indeed, here's what Avon is reporting:

100% of women showed results on fine lines in just 2 weeks:

Overnight - skin looks more youthful

In 3 days – wrinkles appear naturally reduced

In 2 weeks – Creases appear filled, and the look of fine lines is dramatically reduced.

This latest innovation uses a molecule called A-F33, which helps the skin to stimulate collagen. With the recommended twice daily use under moisturiser, the result is smoother, plumper skin.

Here is what 'A Current Affair' said about this magic cream a few weeks ago:

And what Avon says:

ANEW Clinical Pro Line Corrector Treatment with A-F33 had a waiting list of over 60,000 women in the UK before it even launched - such was the strong faith in the product.

Watch the long list here in Australia when it launches in 2013! Are you willing to be added to a list for the newly-sought-after cream? I would!

Proactiv: newer, better... and why we hate zits in social media

According to new research from Proactiv, our physical appearance on social media is more important to us than many day to day activities.

This should hardly be surprising considering the primping and preening evident in most Facebook profile photos!

In the recent survey from Australia’s No.1 "acne brand", a third of respondents said they would rather go without Facebook for a week than see themselves on YouTube with acne.

Social media vanity was the highest ranking concern when comparing the results to missing the sales and going for a date with a pimple between the eyes (29%), having no deodorant for a week and having pimples on their passport photo (23%), or even having no phone coverage for a week and bumping into their favourite movie star with a zit on their nose (15% - though kinda unlikely to happen, right?)

And of the 86 per cent of people who admit to having pimples, 18 per cent would be embarrassed to speak in front of others and four in ten (38%) would either reschedule social engagements or avoid having their photo taken.

Proactiv’s Brand Manager, Susan Leahy, commented: “Increasingly, social media is being used as a platform for people to broadcast their own brand both personally and professionally. And with most social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter now having the ability to attach photos to your page/CV/updates, there is more scrutiny from others than ever before.

She continues: “Our physical appearance is a major part of how we present ourselves to the world, so it is natural that people feel self-conscious about their skin and would be embarrassed by a breakout of pimples."

Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Avril Lavigne are all appearing in the new advertisements for "New Proactiv" and each one is said to be a fan and real user of the brand, claiming it changed the way they approach skincare. I don't know about you, but this new slew of celebs endorsing the product has really sold it for me. I have tried the newer formulation of Proactiv and can now see what everyone's been raving about - it makes your skin feel instantly fresh and alive.

The new-sized 30 day supply of the Proactiv 3 Step System is available for an intro price of $29.95 (+$9.95 p&h). You'll also get two free gifts: New Proactiv Cleansing Body Bar and The Doctors’ Secrets book, all of which comes with a full 60 day money-back guarantee.

For more information, please visit http://www.newproactiv.com.au/ or call 1300 664 011.

Dr. Katie Rodan gives a backgrounder on the dreaded zits:

“Acne and pimples begin deep inside the skin. Oil is released – it combines with dead cells and forms a plug like a cork in a bottle. And then the oil backs up. The bacteria that live on the skin naturally begin to grow, and you end up with a clogged angry pore.

The difference with Proactiv is that it’s about the prevention of blemishes appearing in the first place. Through using Proactiv you can take control of your skin and maintain it in a good condition.

And now, Australia’s No. 1 acne brand is new and improved. NEW Proactiv® is faster and gentler* on skin. The secret is the exclusive micro-crystal technology, which penetrates fast for rapid zit fighting action to help manage those breakouts, so you can have clearer, fresher-looking skin at any age.

Another spokesperson to join the ranks includes the women’s world No. 1 female tennis player Caroline Wozniacki.

After battling breakouts in the public eye for quite some time, 20-year-old Wozniacki decided to try Proactiv after recommendations from her friends. After a week she started to see results and her self confidence grew immensely.

“I was so happy, and I didn't want to hide anymore. I'm glad I have Proactiv. A lot of athletes struggle with their skin because we're always sweating, and we're under a lot of stress,” she said.

“I see other girls in the locker room trying to cover their pimples with makeup, but they know it's not going to work. The minute you start sweating, it comes right off. When they ask me how I keep my skin so nice, I always tell them about Proactiv."
