Woman's Day: Blake and Sam Speak - 'The Bachelor'

In a Woman's Day magazine exclusive, the lid is finally lifted on why 'The Bachelor' Blake Garvey ended his engagement and effectively his relationship with Sam Frost. Channel Ten confirmed the split in a statement. Here is the mag cover, with the issue on sale today:

Says Blake in the interview: "It didn't feel like what I expected or hoped for. I had fears and doubts like anyone and unfortunately they were realised."

From Sam's perspective though, she says: 'I was completed blindsided." OUCH.

Adds Blake: "I love her by maybe it wasn't the long lasting romantic love I was looking for."

Woman's Day then asked if Sam was angry, to which she replied: "I am disappointed, which is worse."

Blake says he ended the relationship with Sam because of “a combination of factors. Being back in reality, in a long-distance relationship, having unfiltered contact and really getting to know each other more. It highlighted that Sam is someone I absolutely love and care for but not in the way of a romantic partner.”

Asked if he still had feelings for the other girls he left behind on 'The Bachelor', Blake answered:

“We shared such an emotional journey it’d be impossible not to feel something.”

And to answer the question everyone seems ti be asking: will Sam get to kep the $50,000 (gulp!) engagement ring Blake gave her.

YES. Bunda will remodel for her and she gets to keep it.

This follows the finale day, when all media interviews with Blake and Sam were cancelled by the show's publicity team.

The magazine interview complements the TV interview with Blake and Sam (separately!) with Carrie Bickmore on 'The Project' - tonight. Details and clip here.

Kim Kardashian "Fat Shaming" Pregnancy Pics

And so, the celebrity "fat shaming" continues.

It has been several weeks since 'subtle as a sledgehammer' comments making fun of Kim Kardashian's pregnant body have become "a thing."

Paparazzi photos of the reality star with her growing belly are in high demand, though a sad by-product of this has been the comments about her fashion choices [that's not exactly the end of the world, I know], but primarily about cruel fat taunts.

With comments about her “fat ass”, and photos of her "pigging out,” Kim says she’s embracing her new pregnant body, and so is her partner and baby daddy Kanye West.

“I think it’s bully-ish to call a pregnant woman fat,” says the reality-TV star, as her sisters and model Helena Christensen offer support. Kim believes now that her belly has popped out a little more, “it’s a really sexy thing,” and her boyfriend “loves” her new curves.

And actor Channing Tatum's wife Jenna has just declared on Twitter that women should "be kind" to pregnant women, rather than focusing on weight gain and fashion choices.

Do you agree? Is this "fat shaming" out of control?

Who magazine: 20th birthday edition

Here is the much-lauded Who magazine, 20th birthday anniversary edition cover, featuring THE most featured cover star [she's graced more than 50 issues], Nicole Kidman:

Here are some of her other Who magazine covers:

How Nicole opens up in the mag is quite extraordinary for her.

She told the mag:

"I got married really fast and really young. But I don’t regret that because it got me [children] Bella and Connor and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period. Then when it didn’t work out I had to really dig deep and find my way through depression. I have no regrets about all of it. It was all part of growing up."

Of discovering she was pregnant in 2008, she says: "I had so much time thinking that wasn’t going to happen in my life and trying to understand that. When it did happen – and for it to be a surprise – that was great. I had tried and failed and failed and failed. Not to be too detailed, but I’ve had an ectopic pregnancy, miscarriages and I’ve had fertility treatments.I’ve done all the stuff you can possibly do to try get pregnant.

"Every woman who has been through all those ups and downs knows the depression that comes with it. So the way it just happened with Sunday was like, ‘What?’ The percentages were so low. It is the miracle in my life."
Meeting Urban was and is another great joy of her life:
"We really, really love each other. We really like each other and respect each other, too. I never, ever take him or our love for granted and I always keep in my mind that my dream is to grow very old with him."

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorce: Who magazine

Anyone else feel kinda sad about this?

Er... happy 50th birthday, Tom. Here's some divorce papers for you.

Who magazine has delivered a 15 page special report into the sudden split between Hollywood power couple Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, super quick.

In the mag, it's revealed how the actress secretly plotted her escape after tiring of her superstar husband's control amid growing fears for the future of their daughter, Suri.

"Katie went from this beautiful, happy face to this sullen, sad person," says a Holmes source in the mag. "She was never with any friends – only Suri. Her parents wanted the old Katie back."

Yet Cruise, who was on the set of his movie Oblivion in Iceland, was said to be blindsided and shattered by his wife's decision to file for divorce.

"He is in shock," a source tells WHO. "He had no idea this was coming. He's totally devastated and heart-broken."

Also in this week's Who mag, an exclusive with 'The Voice' runners up: Sarah, Rachael and Darren.

Plus, gorgeous wedding photos from Kate Waterhouse's beautiful Italian ceremony.
