Boohoo.com: your new online fashion obsession

If you are a bit of an online shopping novice - yes, there are still some of us out there - or a seasoned web shopper, you simply must check out new-to-Australia shopping site Boohoo.com.

The team behind the brand were kind enough to give me a $100 voucher and I was simply told to go forth and spend. An easy enough task, you would think. And it IS. My only 'issue': so much choice!

Feast your eyes on these little - very inexpensive - buys from Boohoo.com:
Blake coloured denim jacket $50
Abbey polka dot skinny jeans $40
Amma bow detail white oversized sunglasses $16
Bobbi stripe tie top $36

Cadence chain link belt $16
Cara cap sleeve jersey midi dress $30

Clara Mesh Insert Bodysuit $20

Colour block bag $30

Daisy crochet maxi dress $40

Lorraine Scarf Print Shirt $36

Here are some of my fave features of Boohoo.com:

- The Style mag called 'Stylefix' - where the team at Boohoo have done the fashion edit for you, grouping items in trends [pastels, festival-wear, navajo, and more] and you can click on each item, where it will take you to the page so you can add it to your basket.

- Check out each item in the 'watch the catwalk video' section on the product's page. A model will show you what the outfit looks like on, complete with catwalk soundtrack [and name of the song playing!] So clever.

- The fact that every time I go on the site, my shopping cart has my choices right there. No need to log in or find it again. It's right there! Perfect for an online procrastinator like me.

- The Boohoo 'style closet': where you can add elements for your desired outfit by clicking on each item, then share the whole look on Facebook or Twitter or on email.

Boohoo is now a leader in affordable and trend-led fashion after experiencing tremendous growth since launching in 2006. The demand from customers is growing daily, both in the UK where it began, and internationally, as Boohoo’s fast online fashion formula is embraced.

Housing over 8000 [eek! Eight thousand!] fashion-forward styles, Boohoo’s unique supply chain means that the latest clothing, accessories and shoes go from design to your wardrobe in a matter of weeks, and has made Boohoo the fastest growing online clothing business in the UK and Europe.

The brand’s in-house team of designers have kept a close eye on the ever-changing local fashion around the globe, while making seasonal and style adjustments to cater to the growing number of customers.

Following an exciting year of triple digit growth for the brand, Boohoo has also officially introduced FREE shipping to Australia in response to the exponential rate of purchases.

“We have observed a shift in consumer buying habits and like everyone in this market, we are always trying to stay up to date with the rate in which global ecommerce is changing. We have ambitious growth plans but the core of our business has always been to provide the seasons latest looks to women, whilst still delivering incredible value, so its common sense to make the purchasing process as easy as possible for our foreign customers,”says Boohoo Joint Chief  Executive Carol Kane.

Log on now and have a browse. I defy you to not want to click on items you covet and buy. And right now - and for the next two weeks - they have a sale!

Oh, and here is what I bought! Nice, eh? Can't wait until it's delivered!

Angelina butterfly jacket $50

Pink fringed bag $44

Zoe leopard print neon yellow scarf $6

Charlie Brown sale: 10 year anniversary of flagship store. On tomorrow.

What are you doing tomorrow night?

Free to shop?

Charlie Brown is celebrating ten years of the opening of their flagship store in Paddington tomorrow night by holding a shopping event. And Channel 7's The Morning Show fashion editor Kai Aiyub is hosting it!

The VIP shopping night will be held at the Charlie Brown Paddington boutique in Sydney and starts at 6pm tomorrow night.

That store is 'dangerous' to me... I never leave without buying even a bangle. My last purchase there was in fact a leopard-print swirly bangle with teeny, sparkly 'diamond-y' bits. It was under 10 dollars! I have long been a fan of Charlie Brown's brand of brash, sometimes loud statement pieces and equally standout fashion. She's on my wavelength.

If she's on yours, head to Paddo tomorrow night and grab a discounted piece or three.

RSVP to: cb.paddington@dicoverygroup.com.au or call 02 9360 9001. Store address is: 178 Oxford Street, Paddington and the event goes until 9pm.
