'Whitlam - The Power And The Passion' - DVD giveaway

If you are a child of the 1970s, you'll recall 'the dismissal' of Australia's then prime minister Gough Whitlam. The year was 1975, and it was deemed one of the most dramatic moments in our political history.

Here is a clip, with an ABC News summary of the events leading up to and including the 1975 dismissal of Gough Whitlam's Labor Government:

I am loving the new slew of Australian mini-series depicting important moments in Australia's history.

And now, 'Whitlam - The Power And The Passion' chronicles the Whitlam era in a two-part documentary series, narrated by Judy Davis. The events of the time divided Australia as a nation in a way that hadn't been seen before - and arguably not since. Hailed as a 'Labor messiah', he had the greatest of political downfalls.
