Kim Kardashian: 'The Wedding', and what she scored

You've got to hand it to the Kardashians - the sure know how to broker a deal.

Kim Kardashian is set to rake in US$17.9 million for her wedding with Kris Humphries.

Oh yes, people. Thirty year old Kim is expected to pull in anywhere between US$12 million to US$15 million for her E! special Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, which will air in Australia October 11 and 12.

This savvy businesswoman (who are we kidding? She's gone far, far beyond being a mere 'reality star' - Paris Hilton must be sobbing in her piles of designer gear) is financially set: between selling her exclusive wedding pics to US People magazine (to be reproduced in Aussie sister mag Who magazine), her bridal shower pics to OK! mag as well as her Las Vegas bachelorette party, this woman is all sorted. Now all she needs to do is, y'know, remember why she got married.

Here's a breakdown of what they got (all is US figures):

* $15 million (plus profit) for the four-hour, two-part wedding special on E!

* $2.5 million for the exclusive pics with US People magazine

* $300,000 for the exclusive engagement announcement with People

* $100,000 for exclusive rights to her bridal shower with Britain’s OK! mag

* $50,000 to have her hen's night at Tao in Las Vegas

* $15,000 to $20,000 for the Hansen’s Bakery wedding cake

* $20,000 for the Vera Wang wedding dress and fittings

* $40,000 for two more Vera Wang evening dresses

* $400,000 in Perrier Jouet Champagne

* $150,000 in hair and makeup for photo shoots and TV “home video”

* $10,000 for the Lehr & Black wedding invitations

* $2 million for the (gasp) 20.5-carat engagement ring and $1 million wedding bands by the US jeweller Lorraine Schwartz, which were said to be hugely discounted.
