Bindi Irwin tribute to her dad Steve Irwin: 'Dancing With The Stars' VIDEO

It's the clip everyone is talking about: Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough dance the 'contemporary' to 'Every Breath You Take' by Aaron Krause featuring Liza Anne, on 'Dancing With The Stars' Most Memorable Year Night.

It's also the dance, and song, Bindi dedicates to her father Steve, who died in 2006. And here is what she said about it. Yes, you will be very moved:

What a beautiful, respectful young lady Bindi has grown into.

Josie's Juice had the pleasure of meeting Bindi and her mother Terri, and brother Bob, at the recent ASTRA Awards in Sydney.

As gorgeous and kind and polite as you'd imagine. What a credit to Terri (and Steve's) parenting. And I told them so.

Bindi, who is only 17, teared up when Derek grabbed her fingers during rehearsal - it brought back a memory of learning to walk from her father.

"It took a really long time to understand what actually happened," Bindi said of her father's death. "For the rest of my life, I'll kind of feel like he's going to come home."

During the very emotional pre-recorded segment, Derek held Bindi's ears closed and was trying to make her laugh the whole time before their dance, so she wouldn't get emotional.

Bindi earned 28 out of 30, the highest score of the night – which included the first 10 of the season - given by judge Bruno Tonioli.
