Roxy Jacenko Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Roxy Jacenko has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

She corresponded with Josie's Juice today, saying to us:

"Head down from me from here on out – got to preserve my energy and keep my focus," says Roxy, 36.

Speaking to news.com.au in an article, she said:

“The timing is extraordinary."

“What I have experienced in the past three weeks is the most shocking thing I have ever experienced. I don’t think there is anything that could shock me more now.”

Roxy's husband Oliver Curtis has been jailed for insider trading, only three weeks ago. They have two young kids together, Pixie and Hunter. Now this.

Josie's Juice is a longtime friend of Roxy, and we wish her all the best in her difficult health journey now.

The article says that, on doctor’s advice, Roxy was set to undergo a “partial removal” of the lump in her left breast on Tuesday, which she discovered while showering last week.

The article adds that doctors delayed the surgery on Monday as the cancer “is larger than first suspected, so more testing is required”.

Speaking to Nine News this AM, she said she was going in for a biopsy this morning, after her office drop in, and in between appointments and her laptop. She added that with two young kids, it has to be business as usual.

"You never expect something like this… but you've got you've got to tackle things head on," she added in the Nine footage.

“I reckon I am still in shock from the first hit,” she said in the piece.
