It's Jeans for Genes day... and here's why you should participate. But first, one of my fave denim looks: the high-waisted jean. Perfect for curvier girls, paired with a white shirt it's simple chic.
More about Jeans for Genes, from their site:
"Jeans for Genes Day is more than an excuse to wear your favourite pair of jeans - it's an initiative to raise much-needed funds for children's medical research.
On Friday August 3rd workplaces, schools and streets everywhere will be awash with denim in a united stance against childhood disease.
The idea is simple - participants pay for the privilege to discard their standard getup in favour of jeans. Denim-themed mufti days are organised by passionate volunteers who rally the support of their colleagues, classmates and friends.
Every dollar you raise or donate towards Jeans for Genes Day will help to bring tomorrow's treatments and cures closer - for the benefit of children everywhere.
There’s no better feeling than knowing you are helping future generations of kids - all while having fun!"
And here's how to get involved: http://www.jeansforgenes.org.au/howtogetinvolved
Which pair of yours will you wear? The ol' Levis 501s? Sass & Bide? Kmart cheapies? White, red, stonewash [okay, if you are still wearing that last one, please stop reading my blog now. KIDDING!]
Get involved and don some denim... there's still time!
That right there is a BRILLIANT look on Kim K...
