Caravan, Camping, RV & Holiday Supershow

More than $10 million is expected to be injected into the Western Sydney economy over the nine days of the Caravan, Camping, RV & Holiday Supershow which has kicked off and is  on all this weekend at Rosehill Racecourse in Parramatta.

Here's a clip:

“The Supershow continues to grow in popularity and range of products and holidays on display is very impressive. ” CCIA NSW President, Theo Whitmont said.

“Many of the people who attend or exhibit at the Supershow travel from throughout NSW or interstate to take part. This injects a huge amount of economic benefit into the western Sydney region.
Events like the Supershow are major economic contributors for regions like Western Sydney, attracting visitors who spend money on accommodation and food as well as highlighting the service capacity of the local area and supporting local jobs."

Mr Whitmont said the Supershow will be attended by around 2500 exhibitor staff and attracts around 80,000 people over the 9 days it is open.

The Supershow runs from Saturday 26 April until 4pm on Sunday 4 May.

“The Supershow is an incredible showcase of the caravan and camping industry – with more than 300 companies exhibiting the latest and best the industry has to offer, from a full range of caravans, motorhomes and 5th wheelers, pop-tops and tents and more.
There is also plenty of entertainment for all ages – kids will have fun with games, art and craft activities and a petting zoo on the weekends, and there are cooking demonstrations and other free workshops and seminars that will help you get the most from your next holiday.

“Anyone who already loves to camp or caravan or who is looking to start should head along to the Supershow - its the perfect place to familiarise yourself with the latest products the industry has to offer or to find out more.
As our industry’s major annual event, you won't get a better opportunity to see this many products all in one place,” says Mr Whitmont.

This year the Supershow has introduced new “product zones” which are easily identifiable using the colour coded maps; pink for caravans, orange for motorhomes and 5th wheelers, green for camper trailers and blue for tents and camping accessories.

There are also other exhibitors such as campervans, slide-ons, pop-tops, accessories and holiday parks and destination displays which are also easily identifiable.

Another first for the Supershow in 2014 is the NRMA Motoring and Services 'Blue Zone', a exciting new entertainment precinct in the heart of the Supershow. The Blue Zone is located on Level 1 of the JR Fleming Stand and offers entertainment for all ages.
