Cosmopolitan magazine - the most widely read magazine on the planet - is launching its Middle East edition on April 1, 2011.
And at the helm, commencing in March, is the wonderfully talented and supremely capable Kerrie Simon.
(Regular readers of Josie's Juice will also know Kerrie is one of my dearest pals, so it's hard for me not to rhapsodise about it all - I will try to restrain myself!)
To be published by ITP Publishing Group (ITP publishes more magazines in the Middle East region than any other company), Kerrie moves from Grazia Middle East where she has been the editor of the title, doing a sensational job in growing the magazine to the number two position in the women's weekly retail market.
On her appointment, Kerrie said: "I'm really excited to be heading up the launch of Cosmopolitan Middle East. I'm looking forward to working with the world-class team to deliver Cosmopolitan to the young women of this region. Cosmopolitan is a voice that is trusted the world over, and I'm honoured to be part of that voice here in the Middle East."
Huge congrats, Kerrie! Magazine aficionados the world over can't wait to see what you and your team have to offer - no doubt it'll be nothing short of fabulous.
