Punters with online bookmaker www.tomwaterhouse.com are betting that the
social media support of a contestant who is not a favourite will help them win the finals of 'The
Voice'.
Since betting reopened following the announcement
of the final line-up, punters have backed Sarah De Bono ($6 outsider of four
into $3.50 second favourite) to upset Karise Eden.
“The Voice favourite Karise is top of the iTunes chart but Sarah
is winning the social media battle, with not only Joel Madden asking his
Twitter followers to vote for his finalist but also his wife, Nicole Ritchie,
and her dad, Lionel,” said Tom Waterhouse, Managing Director of tomwaterhouse.com.
And so, as at Saturday June 16, The Voice winner odds are as follows:
$1.40 Karise Eden
$3.50 Sarah De Bono
$6 Darren Percival
$15 Rachael Leahcar

Meanwhile the iTunes charts are largely dominated by 'The Voice' singers and their renditions of songs, with nine of the Top 10 selling tracks on iTunes this morning by 'The Voice contestants.
Eden’s cover 'Stay With Me Baby' is number one, while the song she wrote herself 'I Was Your Girl' is number two.
The latter will be released as her winner’s single if she wins the contest tonight - in a studio recorded version, not the live TV version which is currently available.
Sarah De Bono’s original song 'Beautiful' is number three on the iTunes chart, while Percival’s self-penned 'Damage Down' is number five on the charts.
Racheal Leahcar's 'Shooting Star' - a tribute to her coach Delta Goodrem, is at number eight.
And if you buy their songs on iTunes it gives the contestant two votes.
Who do you want to see win?
Tune into the grand final for 'The Voice' tonight from 7.30pm, on Channel Nine.
