Channel Nine TV host Sonia Kruger welcomed her firstborn child, a daughter, Maggie Kruger McPherson, into the world at the Mater Hospital in North Sydney on Saturday.
The 'Mornings' co-host gave birth to a baby girl alongside her TV executive partner, Craig McPherson.

Sonia's partner is a father to six (and Maggie makes lucky seven!), and the choice of name is explained here by Sonia:
"We've named her Maggie after my mother and the baby from The Simpsons. If you knew my family you'd understand."
