InStyle magazine, Delta Goodrem - March 2014: VIDEO

Delta Goodrem is the March 2014 cover girl for InStyle magazine Australia. The stunning cover is below (courtesy InStyle):

Shot at a private residence in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, InStyle tells how the LA-based Australian singer looked sleek on arrival at the shoot, in a pair of black, suede, knee-high boots by Christian Louboutin. As the clip below shows, she soon got into the groove, donning the '70s-inspired ensembles the InStyle team had waiting for her (there were - gulp - over 150 pieces to choose from). The singer requested a caffeine hit - a Starbucks iced latte was her caffe' of choice.

Here is the gorgeous behind the scenes clip:

In the magazine (some preview shots courtesy of InStyle, below) Delta talks about marriage, turning 30 in November, 'The Voice', 'The Voice Kids', and probably one of my fave moments of 'vulnerable Delta' in 2003, which I recall so vividly.

George Epaminondas, the journalist who interviewed her, asks a beautiful question: "I want to ask you about that remarkable moment in 2003 when you attended the ARIA awards a month after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. How did you manage that?

Delta replies: "Wearing my little wig… it's hard to talk about that moment in my life without crying. I can transport myself right there , standing there with my family. [She wells up] I can't talk about it, I'm sorry. The extremity of everything that had gone on; my nurse was backstage and here I was collecting all these awards. It's everything you dream about as a kid but then I was fighting for my life as I walked off the stage. I'll never forget the support everyone gave me."

On marriage, Delta says that it's "definitely" important to her… [But] I can't imagine being in a relationship right now. I'm feeling very empowered - I don't need anyone else."

And on the often polar-opposite reactions to Delta during 'The Voice' she says: "At the time, I was devastated, absolutely broken. I never wanted to be controversial. I'm in this for the music."

Here are some divine shots by Carlotta Moye and styled by Katherine Green, courtesy of InStyle. The entire shoot is one of the best, most ethereal and beautiful I have seen. Stunning, and worth being the edition for:
