A good friend of mine is in the process of writing a piece for Josie's Juice detailing how she has managed to successfully have a friendship with her ex... and yet fail miserably at this with another ex.

It is interesting, because about a year ago I reconnected with an ex on Facebook. We dated in high school and college. It's ancient history, but we have so much in common, and are in very similar places in our lives. We haven't talked to each other in 20 years, but we fell into a pattern of messaging or emailing several times a day. Well I was complaining one day that I never write or blog anymore, and he pointed out that I'd been blogging to an audience of one.
