Is there is a limit to what reality TV can and should talk about and deconstruct?
In the new Tori Spelling series called 'True Tori', Tori and her husband Dean tackle the near-marriage breakdown they recently experienced, due to Dean's admission he cheated on her.
Or did they create the show after the event in order to have a very strong plot line, a reason for people to watch their new show? You decide. (For the record, I will be).
Either way, if you're into that kind of fly on the wall viewing, and love yourself a little Tori (with a big serve of scandal), this is your kinda reality show.
Watch a snippet here (and scroll down for the Australian screen date):
Dean says in the clip: "That's my worst nightmare. I cheated on my wife."
Tori replies: "I'm really mad."
Dean adds: "I was out of control. Sex was an escape, just like drugs and alcohol."
Adds Tori tearfully: "I can never give him enough sex. He's never gonna be happy with just me."
'True Tori' starts on Wednesday October 8, 2014 at 8.30pm on Arena, on Foxtel.
